205B Buddy L Hydraulic Aerial Ladder Fire Truck purchased from Buddy K Toys of Hellertown, PA. Bud Krause restored the truck. Made in 1931, by Moline Pressed Steel Company. Page 273 in “American Transportation Toys 1895-1941” by Joe and Sharon Freed.
Low open cab with running boards. Brass Bell on dash. Plated bumper, headlight bar and painted Disc Wheels with 7 embossed spokes and Rubber tires. Steerable front wheels. Tires are printed in raised letters – “Firestone, Buddy L, 6.00×20 and balloon”. NO flat spots on tires – never stored resting on its tires. 3 section Plated Ladder is raised by hydraulic pressure. Vertically the ladder extends 4.5 feet. Small hand crank rotates ladder turntable. 39″ long, 9.5″ high, 10″ wide. Ladder extends 44″. Everything works as it should, it is Like New. Shipping Box is 48x12x11 weighs 22 lbs.
